April 3, 2020 Update
On or about Monday, April 13, 2020 PSE&G will be replacing and upgrading utility poles along South New Broadway between the Forbidden Circle in Brooklawn and Market Street in Gloucester City.
To safely complete this portion of work detours, road closures, lane shifts and flaggers may be utilized. PSE&G will work with the local police to minimize any traffic concerns or inconvenience to the public.
March 2020 Update
PSE&G will be upgrading the electric system in your neighborhood to continue to provide safe, reliable service. Construction crews will soon begin working in the city of Camden City as well as Brooklawn and Westville Boroughs. Please note: PSE&G does not expect any service interruptions with this phase of construction.
PSE&G will be replacing and upgrading utility poles beginning in early March 2020 and continuing through June 2021. Work hours will be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, as well as some nights and weekends, as needed. All construction is weather dependent and subject to delay. Streets will be listed to as crews progress along the route.

In advance of the overhead construction activities, we may trim and/or remove trees along the route in compliance with the Board of Public Utilities’ Vegetation Management Rules. This may include trees in the public rights of way and on private property. If you are the owner of a tree on private property, you will be contacted by our Vegetation Management Department or one of our approved contractors.
Safety is our highest priority. It is essential that you and everyone using your property, including children and pets, refrain from going near our construction work zones.
