Electric Reliability Projects

For more than 110 years, PSE&G has been providing reliable power to homes, businesses and communities across New Jersey.

PSE&G has recently embarked on a multibillion-dollar program to rebuild New Jersey’s transmission infrastructure – the largest program of its kind in the United States. The company will invest more than $1 billion in transmission per year, for each of the next three years [see Forward Looking statement].

Currently there are six strategic or linear projects in progress - very large projects that greatly impact the transmission grid. These projects include replacing old equipment, increasing capacity on existing lines, and modernizing switchyards.

The upgrading of the transmission lines will ensure the continued reliability of our energy infrastructure and reliable power in the state, allowing businesses to succeed and the economy to grow.

PSE&G’s continued dedication to providing safe and reliable has won the company a myriad of awards, year-after-year.
